Meet Our Owner / Construction Expert
Eric Vechan, PhD
Eric’s been a construction nerd since the day he was born. While growing up in NW Austin, he built a variety of things from “scrap lumber” he found at nearby new home build sites. As a construction nerd, he earned a BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M and then MS & PhD’s in construction. Professionally, Eric has been working for 17 years in construction. In addition to working, he teaches graduate level construction courses through Louisiana State University’s online MS in Construction Management program. Eric is a family guy at heart and focuses on spending his time away from work with his wife, daughter and son. He and his family live in Leander.

Harold Feikert
Harold's been roofing since he was a kid. He's been roofing for over 40 years and have experience with all types of roofs. Harold has lead teams that have installed roofs for both residential and commercial clients. In his role with ROOF MONKEY, he performs all major inspections, troubleshoots challenging projects, coordinates the work and finishes every job with a quality control inspection. Originally from a small town in Central Illinois, Harold and his wife now call the Killeen area home.
